Chessbored?

As a chess player, I sometimes really wonder why we always play by the rules. The current form of chess has been in vogue since as long as the 15th century. The moves of each of the pieces are given and accepted worldwide generation after generation. Yet, every game is different and we never get tired of it. Does the game really allow us such a wide berth that our minds never find the rules limiting and each game has something new to offer? If so ,was this by design or is this random?? Will there ever be a day when we'll say lets change the moves of a bishop, it'll make it more exciting? Why haven't we ever questioned these fundamentals? Maybe this is true of all games, or maybe we're too busy winning to see if we can get anything more out of it. Or maybe this thought is just a parallel to all what we hold as given vis-à-vis what we are willing to change or question.

The wonderful mathematical order of 64 alternative white & black blocks in which already 32 of them occupied makes an interesting game for each player to think and make calculative moves within a limited space of remaining 32…isn’t it interesting??
As for the “change” is concerned…one needs to formulate new moves for the 6 prominent members around whom this particular entire game revolves!!!
And these rules shud be precise, acceptable and understood by the players as well….else there wudnt be any point :))
Given a chance many may/may not like the new version of a game…..for that matter, in any field…new ventures take time….there we are again running out of TIME….
Previous generations had thought of game and not about time so their strategy is deeply implicit by present….. Not a bad idea to start new thought but to persevere it one needs to follow it also….among the present generation, questionnaire is more than acceptance which is good for human progress :)) but if there is always a query then how can one think of any harmony…as there will always exist difference of opinion…!!
Game modifications…infact any kind of upgrade can be done by mutual agreement for it to last so that our upcoming generations could have the same question to think and modernize it according to their convenience…!!!

1. Most of the games that are to be played have already been played. A chess player memorses all games to know the best outcome and innovation starts after the opening 10-15 moves.
2. 3-D chess. Never played it but sounds like an interesting game
